As a professional philosopher, approximately 50% of my time is taken up by my teaching duties. In addition to this, I spend around 45% of my time doing admin, and 35% on research. I spend the remaining 85% of my time responding to emails, so before you email me, ask yourself: do I really need to do this? Seriously though, I do appreciate interest in my work so please get in touch, just don’t expect a quick reply.
